What are Functional Labs?

Functional lab testing involves a comprehensive analysis that evaluates the overall functioning of your body. By assessing various physiological markers and systems, this type of testing provides insights into how your body is performing as a cohesive unit. The objective is to identify any imbalances, deficiencies, or dysfunctions that may be affecting your health and well-being. Through a combination of laboratory tests and assessments, functional lab testing helps uncover underlying issues and guides personalized treatment strategies to optimize your body's functionality.

How are functional labs different?

Functional lab testing offers a targeted approach by examining a narrower range of laboratory values, referred to as the optimal lab range. This approach enables us to detect signs of dysfunction even before the onset of overt diseases.  These tests allow us to delve deeper and adopt a more holistic perspective when assessing the body's functioning. Through state-of-the-art laboratory testing, we harness the power of advanced diagnostics to uncover the precise biochemical imbalances occurring within your body. This invaluable information allows us to adopt a reverse-engineering approach, targeting the root causes and paving the way for effective healing.
